Hematology

  • Prepare 2-3 bloodfilms as outlined in the download "Bloodfilm Preparation"
  • Send samples together with the submission form directly to

  • Please note: We neither can accept nor process whole-blood samples - do not send samples in EDTA or heparin

  • Prepare 3-6 dried native cytologic specimens on glass slides as outlined in the download "Sampling for Cytology"

Pathology

  • Necropsies can only be performed on carcasses < 5kg
  • Please notify by phone (076 310 13 65) prior to shipment/drop off
  • All necropsies are performed in combination with a cytologic evaluation
  • A set of samples for microbiology, virology, parasitology, and histology will be preserved and processed on request

Pricing/Invoicing

Prices for routine diagnostic workups are listed in the submission form. Invoicing is carried out on a monthly basis. All prices are in CHF. For SEPA transfers, the amount is converted into € using the current CHF/€ exchange rate at the day of invoicing.

Prices for services within scientific collaborations, teaching, and consulting are calculated individually for each project – please contact Dr. Pendl directly.
